Estate planning platform EstateBox recognized as an LGBTQ+ friendly business

Digital platform achieves national Rainbow Registered Accreditation from Canada’s LGBT+ Chamber of Commerce

Kelowna, BC. March 15, 2022.

EstateBox is proud to announce they have been accredited as a Rainbow Registered business by Canada’s LGBT+ Chamber of Commerce (CGLCC). This national accreditation symbolizes that EstateBox meets a stringent set of standards to ensure LGBTQ+ customers and employees feel safe, welcomed, and accepted. They’re only the second company in Kelowna and sixth in British Columbia to achieve this accreditation.

According to CGLCC, the standards focus on four key areas, including policies and practices, training, commitment to inclusive leadership, and a culture of inclusivity.

In addition to ensuring customers and existing employees feel safe and welcome, the accreditation also helps prospective employees to easily identify LGBTQ+ friendly businesses.

“We have focused on creating a workplace that prioritizes diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging to ensure employees know they can always bring their full, most authentic selves to work,” said EstateBox founder and CEO Anjali Coyle. “My team and I have also focused on ensuring our product reflects these values; the EstateBox platform is inclusive and made for everyone.”

The accreditation is the most recent example of EstateBox’s commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. Last year, they completed a DEI audit with Veza Global, which reviewed their company materials and policies. EstateBox was placed at stage 4 in Veza Global’s “5 Stages to an Inclusive Culture” and is actively working to reach stage 5.

“I am committed to making a conscious effort within my company and my community to ensure we are stewards of the Rainbow Registered accreditation by prioritizing an inclusive workplace and product,” said Coyle.
